We use a very expensive German made Microphone (the BBC's Mail box in Birmingham use this same mic in their main studio). The advantage of a good mic makes a huge difference to productions of both spoken word and vocal recording. The Mic and signal chain it is linked to, has been specifically tailored to record every nuance of the voice. As well as sounding very professional, this enables your voice over recording to cut through the mix and sound far superior to any other method. Recordings are tailored to the individual qualities of both male and female voice.
